While manufacturers are developing their electric vehicle (EV) plans, there is a second race going ahead, with companies competing to be the first to deliver autonomous vehicles to the market.

This race does not just involve carmakers, however, with suppliers, technology companies and governments keen to ensure their systems lead the industry forward into a driverless future. Partnerships are being forged; external businesses are implementing plans and funding is being found for educational institutes to research this emerging field.

However, autonomous technology is still some way off, and there are a number of potential barriers to slow its mass adoption. Autovista Group wants to know which one readers of the Daily News Brief, and Autovista Group website, think is the biggest of all.
