The Goodwood Festival of Speed has renewed the debate around the need for motor shows, with manufacturers deciding not to attend what were once some of the biggest events in the world. They are instead displaying the latest technology at consumer electronics events, enthusiast gatherings, or relying on media coverage and online videos to launch new products.

With this in mind, Autovista Group wants to know what you think is the most important show for the industry in today’s climate. Are the big car shows still worth attending, or are smaller shows and events better for consumer awareness? In addition, can an event like the CES in Las Vegas replace something more traditional like the IAA?
